Women in Tech Outstanding Achievement Finalist!

We are extremely pleased to announce that our very own Lalita D’Cruze has been shortlisted for the TalkTalk North West Women in Tech Awards 2022!

The TalkTalk North West Women in Tech Awards aims to recognise the outstanding women doing important work across all levels of the region’s diverse technology industry.

By celebrating the many successes of women working in tech across the region, TalkTalk aims to support and deliver a roadmap to a more inclusive sector.

The Awards, in their second year, will be held in November this year and have 6 categories including:

· Rising Star
· Innovation / Innovator
· Tech for Good
· Mentor of the year
· Team of the year
· Outstanding Achievement

Lalita, who is Operations Director at Giant Digital, is one of 12 inspiring women from across the North West who have been shortlisted in the Outstanding Achievement category. The category celebrates those who are leading by example and forging the way for females in the tech sector.

Having joined Giant Digital just under 2 years ago, Lalita’s enthusiasm, drive and flair for leadership were clear from the outset, and she quickly progressed into a director-level role. She now holds a place on the senior leadership team, and is instrumental to the smooth running of the organisation. She has brought in improved ways of working and championed learning and development, EDI and wellbeing, bringing new opportunities for team members and nurturing an inclusive working environment.

We feel Lalita certainly merits recognition for her outstanding achievements to date and couldn’t be more pleased that she has been shortlisted as a finalist for this prestigious award. Please join us in wishing her lots luck when the winners are announced in early November!
